eOne signs partners across games, apparel, nightwear and confectionery.
The release of the first trailer got everyone talking last week, and now eOne has revealed further developments in the licensing programme for The BFG movie.
New partners have been signed across games, apparel, nightwear and confectionery, with merchandise due to arrive in summer 2016.
Blues is now on board for leisurewear, Winning Moves has signed for a Monopoly game, C&M Licensing will produce a line of nightwear, underwear and socks, while Kinnerton will be releasing chocolate confectionery.
In addition, eOne has also appointed creative agency Imagin8 to manage cross category FSDU solutions at retail.
“We’ve had a tremendous response to The BFG from licensees and have assembled a strong line-up of partners across a wide range of categories,” said Hannah Mungo, head of UK licensing at eOne. “Excitement is beginning to build with the release of the film’s first trailer last week, which kick starts and eight month marketing campaign that will make this one of the must-see movies of summer 2016.”
The new licensees join Fashion UK, William Lamb, Ravensburger, Bazooka Candy, Gemma International, Pyramid International and Danilo.
