Rockpool Licensing also lining up first major licensing partners for show.
A second series of The Baby Club – which is aimed at parents and babies and replicates the type of activities taking place at baby groups across the country – has been commissioned by CBeebies.
Launching from Monday July 15, new episodes will air at 10.20am every weekday and be repeated every weekday afternoon at 1420 for a period of four weeks, after which it will continue on repeat at those same times. A trail for the new series is due to air this weekend.
The show has received strong audience feedback since its debut on CBeebies in March this year and there are now plans to launch a YouTube channel and accompanying podcast in the coming months.
The Baby Club is produced by Three Arrows Media in association with Tiny House Productions and CMP Productions, known collectively as The Baby Club Group.
“The first series of The Baby Club was a huge success and we’re over the moon that the second has followed so soon,” said Vickie O’Malley, md of Rockpool Licensing, which is representing the show in the UK. “Rockpool are set to announce our first major licensing partners for the show in the next couple of weeks and will adding to this in all key categories during the course of the rest of the year.”
Emma Hyman from Tiny House Productions added: “We are absolutely delighted to announce the launch of The Baby Club Series Two, giving us a further opportunity to help parents navigate and enjoy those early months with their babies.
“We’ve been blown away by all the incredible feedback we’ve had from parents watching series one and can’t wait to hear what impact series two has on both our grown-up audience and our littlest fans.”
