Tesco ready to introduce digital passports for F&F clothing

Tesco has collaborated with Fabacus to introduce digital passports to its F&F clothing range.

The supermarket chain will include digital passports across its full fashion range, providing shoppers with more information about where and how each garment was made, reported The Industry.Fashion.

“At Tesco, we’re committed to sustainability and strive to make a positive impact on our planet,” commented Joe Little, head of technical at Tesco. “DPPs represent an important step forward, encouraging and promoting sustainable and circular practices and we’re pleased to be leading the way with this pilot, collaborating with Fabacus on our F&F clothing range.”

In March, fashion brand Nobody’s Child further built on its partnership with Fabacus, introducing the second edition of its Digital Product Passport pilot, on the Happy Place by Fearne Cotton collection.
