Tesco Direct launches Help for Heroes Xmas range

Retailer and charity team up to offer personalised decorations for festive season.

Help for Heroes has launched a new line of personalised Christmas decorations with Tesco Direct.

The decorations – including 12 Christmas tree decorations and a special Santa present sack – all feature Bryn Parry’s Christmas-themed Hero Bear illustrations.

They can all also be personalised with the name or names of the recipients or buyers.

For every personalised Help for Heroes product sold by Tesco, 100% of the profit from these lines will be donated directly to the charity.

Help for Heroes’ relationship with Tesco – which extends from staff fundraising to ranges of co-branded products – has to date raised over £1.6 million for the charity.

The supermarket has stocked H4H-branded Eggs for Soldiers, Branston Bigger Baked Beans and Alf Turner Sausage and Bacon, as well as Tesco own-label Help for Heroes Bacon and Sausages.

Tesco also supplies 17 products in the Help for Heroes Personalise Me range through Tesco Direct, including customisable mobile phone covers, note pads, mugs, water bottles and more.

Chris Barnett, brand licensing executive at Tesco, said: “We are proud to be expanding our partnership with Help for Heroes via our personalised proposition. Offering customers a unique thoughtful gifting solution.”

Marcus O’Shea, head of brand partnerships for Help for Heroes, added: “We think these Christmas decorations are fantastic and will bring a little festive cheer to homes across the country.

“The colourful Christmas tree decorations featuring the much-loved Hero Bear will not only raise a smile at Christmas, but will also raise money for a very important cause.”
