Taylor Swift makes mobile games move

Glu Mobile secures deal with award winning pop star for new mobile games title.

Chart conquering pop star Taylor Swift is looking to add a new string to her bow – making her first foray into the world of mobile gaming.

The Grammy and Brit award winner has signed a mult-year partnership with Glu Mobile to develop a new game.

Few details are currently available, although Glu has confirmed that the game is due for release in late 2016.

Niccolo de Masi, chief executive at Glu Mobile, commented: “We realise that Taylor and her global fan base expect a new and highly differentiated mobile gaming experience.”

Glu Mobile is the company behind the hit Kim Kardashian: Hollywood mobile game.

Its portfolio of celebrities also includes Katy Perry, as well as Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj and chef Gordon Ramsay.
