Target celebrates Dr Seuss with exclusive lines

US retailer reveals themed infant and toddler apparel range ahead of World Book Day.

US retailer Target is celebrating the classic Dr Seuss brand with the launch of an exclusive apparel line, as well as a raft of book promotions.

The range has been timed to coincide with the author’s birthday on March 2 – which is dubbed ‘Read Across America’ day in the US, and is also known as World Book Day.

The retailer has created an exclusive line of Dr Seuss-themed infant and toddler apparel, a Dr Seuss biography with bonus exclusive content only available at Target and some Horton the Elephant-sized book promotions running through February and March.

The biography includes extra activities and doodling exercises, while all Dr Seuss books in store will receive a special discount until March 11.

The apparel line features fan favourite catchphrases and characters from books including The Cat in the Hat and Oh, The Places You’ll Go.

Prices range from $8.99 through to $19.99.
