Surtex switches dates to February for 2019

Art and design licensing show will run in New York from February 3-5.

Next year’s Surtex show is to switch its dates to earlier in the calendar so that it is co-located with home, lifestyle and gift show NY Now.

Surtex 2019 will run from February 3-5 at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center in New York.

It will be co-located with the National Stationery Show and NY Now, which features more than 2,300 brands and upwards of 20,000 retailers.

“We’re thrilled to be able to give Surtex attendees access to unique, creative art and designs even earlier in the year,” said Randi Mohr, Emerald Expositions’ vice president and show director for both NY Now and Surtex.

“Co-locating with NY Now provides Surtex artists and designers the opportunity to showcase their work to an even broader audience of design and licensing industry professionals.”

Randi continued: “We’re especially looking forward to being able to serve those in the fashion industry seeking to source original designs for new product releases.”
