Studio 100 Media and Maya the Bee take big sustainability step

Studio 100 Media is looking to inspire licensees and partners to take the first steps towards more sustainable production and responsible use of resources.

The company has teamed with PACOON, a leading agency in Central Europe which specialises in package design and sustainability, to develop an Eco Trend Book for its popular Maya the Bee property.

The new style guide aims to provide licensees with background knowledge, as well as showing them innovative ways to produce their products in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable way in terms of design, packaging and materials.

Packaging designed and produced according to the Eco Trend Book also reflects a number of the core values of Maya the Bee – naturalness, nature, curiosity, liveliness, care and attention.

The guide, which is available to licensees now, will be supplemented with new examples and additional artwork for fresh product categories in the future.

Maya the Bee has already proved to be a successful brand ambassador for bee and insect protection, sustainability and biodiversity. The brand’s environmental initiative, Project Poppy Meadow, has been running for four years and aims to make it easy for families to protect nature in a variety of ways.
