The 40th anniversary of Bullseye is being marked with the launch of an exclusive, limited edition replica of the bronze Bully trophy in support of the Stroke Association, available from Blu Goblin.
The replica stands at 27cm tall, weighs 1.25kg and is hand cast in polystone resin with a hand painted bronze finish. Each comes in a hand made, purple silk-lined presentation box, with the Bullseye 40th anniversary logo silver foil embossed on the lid and engraved on the base of the statuette.
An individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity is included, numbering from 1-501 and signed by Andrew J Wood creator of Bullseye.
The replicas are on sale for £301, including a 10% donation to the Stroke Association. The charity’s work has particular significance to Bullseye fans as long-time show host Jim Bowen survived two strokes.
“We loved the Blu Goblin model as soon as we saw it,” commented Vicky Miller, licensing director at Bulldog Licensing. “Creating high quality, limited edition products for fans and supporting incredibly important causes at the same time is a winning combination.
“We are thrilled to be working with the team to launch this very special replica Bronze Bully, a super, smashing, great way for fans to celebrate 40 years of their favourite game show.”
Laura Wood, brand and social media manager for Bullseye, added: “The Stroke Association is a charity that is very close to our hearts, and having just celebrated our 40th anniversary, partnering with them and Blu Goblin to bring replica Bronze Bully Trophies to our fans feels very special to us.”
Saul Heselden, head of corporate partnerships at the Stroke Association, continued: “We’re thrilled that Bulldog Licensing and the Blu Goblin team have worked together to support the Stroke Association through the sale of limited edition replicas of Bronze Bully. The funds raised will go a long way in supporting our work to rebuild even more lives after stroke.”
