New licensing partnership covers men’s footwear and accessories.
Footwear and accessories specialist Steve Madden has joined forces with men’s health and lifestyle brand GQ for a new collaboration.
Working with GQ creative director, Jim Moore, the new capsule collection aims to ‘redefine a man’s accessory closet’ according to the company.
The collaboration features seven shoe styles – including sneakers and boots – five bags and phone and sunglasses cases. It will hit select Steve Madden stores and other specialty retailers from August 16.
“It seems it has always been much more interesting to buy women’s shoes than men’s, and I’m looking to change that,” explained Steve Madden. “I want to be able to give guys the same options that we have always been able to give women. This collaboration with GQ does just that.”
Jim Moore, GQ creative director, added: “Our goal was to create the perfect collection of footwear – with bags to mix and match – that we feel every guy should own for fall, encouraging them to purge the old and merge the new; the full collection is GQ endorsed and sure to keep every guy in perfect style-step.”
