Sports Merchandise and Licensing Show postponed for 2020

Event had been due to run at Stamford Bridge on November 17.

The organiser of the Sports Merchandise and Licensing Show has confirmed that the 2020 event has been postponed.

The event had been due to take place at Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge on November 17.

A statement from the team said: “We have been monitoring the current situation closely and exploring all available options over the last few months. As we are ultimately led by government advice, we also want to ensure that we can create a safe environment for our exhibitors and visitors and, therefore, we have had to make the inevitable decision to postpone this year’s event.

“We are hopeful that SMLS will return to Stamford Bridge in 2021 and have provisionally held the dates of 14th/15th November 2021. We will be in touch in due course with further details about exhibiting and visiting, but if you have any questions in the meantime please feel free to contact us.

“We would like thank you for your continued support of the show and look forward to hopefully welcoming you all to Stamford Bridge next year.”
