Spacetoon Event teams with Mattel in MENA

Company will launch Mattel-branded events across the territory.

Looking to expand its portfolio of themed-events, Spacetoon Event has secured a deal with Mattel to launch branded live events in the MENA region.

The collaboration covers Barbie, Hot Wheels, Thomas & Friends, Fireman Sam, Bob the Builder, Barney and Mega Bloks, as well as the Mattel games portfolio including UNO, Pictionary and Scrabble.

The partnership has already kicked off with General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia choosing the Eid season to begin several events and corner activities across a number of malls.

Spacetoon Event is now looking to further capitalise on this success and is currently preparing to participate in the Jeddah season.

“The diversity found in Mattel’s portfolio provided us with the opportunity to deliver new experiences to MENA,” said Ahmad Weiss, general manager of Spacetoon Event. “Our goal now is to reinforce the success of these brands in the region by organising entertaining events that could attract kids and families and turn into the best entertainment destination.”
