Sony Pictures unveils first Peter Rabbit movie trailer

Eagerly anticipated movie will arrive in spring 2018.

Sony Pictures has released the first trailer for the hotly tipped Peter Rabbit movie, which is due to arrive in March 2018.

Penguin Ventures is working with Sony Pictures Entertainment on the licensing and consumer products programme for the new live action/CGI Peter Rabbit movie.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has launched a worldwide licensing campaign, including Penguin Ventures’ agency representation in the UK and Eire, Australia, New Zealand and Japan for Sony Pictures Consumer Products in those particular territories.

The film is based on the series of books written by Beatrix Potter. James Corden will voice the lead role of Peter, with Rose Byrne starring in the live action female lead role of Bea.

Daisy Ridley (from Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Elizabeth Debicki (The Night Manager) are also part of the voice cast.
