Sony Pictures Consumer Products grows Ghostbusters programme

Sony Pictures Consumer Products is inviting Ghostbusters fans to suit up for Halloween with an expansive new line-up of merchandise and content.

The programme coincides with an exciting chapter of Ghostbusters history, with upcoming theatrical and animated content in development. This includes a sequel to Ghostbusters: Afterlife and two new offerings from Sony Pictures Animation – the first-ever Ghostbusters animated movie and a Ghostbusters animated series.

“Halloween is the perfect time to showcase the breadth of the Ghostbusters franchise and consumer products portfolio; it gives our fans an exciting opportunity to immerse themselves in the brand across every platform, on-screen and off,” commented Jamie Stevens, evp worldwide consumer products at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

New product launches include the Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed video game from IllFonic; the ‘ultimate ghost bustin” adult collectable role-play item from Hasbro, the first ever Ghostbusters HasLab project, the Plasma Series Spengler’s Proton Pack; an expansion of Disguise’s costume and accessories offering; plus Ghostbusters: The Official Cookbook from Insight Editions including more than 50 recipes inspired by the franchise.
