Private members club branches out with debut homeware line called Soho Home.
Private members club Soho House is expanding into the world of homewares and interiors, with a new label called Soho Home.
The new collection includes furniture, lighting, textiles and tableware as featured in the various houses.
The range has an English heritage feel but with a contemporary twist.
Products range from the Slovenia-made crystal barware and Frette sheets, through to cashmere throws and the signature velvet Chesterfield sofas made by British upholsterers, George Smith.
Design director Vicky Charles told The Telegraph: “There’s always been a demand for ‘the look’.
“We’d receive an email every other week, asking where we got certain things from, so it just made sense. We were already doing the product development for the houses and had good suppliers in place. It was just the logistics we had to work out.”
The original Soho House was opened by Nick Jones in 1995 in Greek Street, London. It now boasts 17 houses around the world, with five more due to open next year.
