Smiley teams with Ubisoft for Rabbids mash-up

New collaboration unveiled at Brand Licensing Europe.

A new collaboration between The Smiley Company and Ubisoft has launched at Brand Licensing Europe, seeing the two licensors come together for an exclusive Rabbids mash-up.

The Rabbids – a mysterious breed of playful, and unpredictable creatures – have joined up with Smiley to wreak havoc in a unique collaboration. The exclusive style guides – which have been developed in-house at Smiley Studio – see both sets of characters spoofing everyday situations in their own unique crazy way.

Featuring highly stylised trending graphics, cute and fun characters, and a selection of appealing slogans, the style guide, has been made available for licensing opportunities by both Ubisoft and Smiley.

“The Rabbids regularly invade universes, and we are really pleased to see them interact with the Smileys,” said Nicolas Loufrani, ceo of The Smiley Company. “Both sets of characters are fun and lively, crazy as well as cute, and there is a great synergy between them. Smiley Studio has created and developed all the art for the project, which is now available to licensees at BLE. I’m looking forward to seeing the range of exciting products this partnership extend into.”
