Silvergate’s exclusive retail partnership with Forbidden Planet will see a host of Hilda merchandise launch in stores this month.
The licensor is hopeful that the range will benefit from an uplift in shopper footfall in central London now that the latest lockdown has been lifted.
The exclusive DTR sees Forbidden Planet launching its own line of Hilda apparel, before expanding into homewares and gifting from 2021.
“We’re really excited to be developing our own range of Hilda merchandise,” said Anthony Garnon at Forbidden Planet. “The show’s fantastical storylines and imaginative visuals speak directly to our consumer base and give us plenty of inspiration for products that will stand out on shelf and become must-have items for Hilda fans.”
The new merchandise has arrived to coincide with season two of the animated series debuting globally on Netflix on December 14.
The first series – which debuted on the streaming service in September 2018 – scooped multiple awards including a BAFTA, Kidscreen, International Emmy award and three Annie awards.
