Signature Books teams with Flossy & Jim

Company to create personalised Horace & Co gift books after striking new deal.

Signature Books has joined forces with Flossy & Jim to create new personalised gift books for Horace & Co.

Horace & Co originally came into being after Lynette Jordan – co-founder of Flossy & Jim – began writing her own humorous stories for her autistic son, using these to help and encourage him to try new foods, with meeting new friends and prior to visiting new places.

Working with master licensee for publishing, Ferley, Horace & Co sees the character and his gang of friends helping each other to overcome their fears, giving kids confidence in everyday situations and supporting their developmental pathways.

Signature Books – which already works with licensed brands including Beatrix Potter, Thunderbirds, Beano and Ladybird – will launch three titles in early 2019 in the UK and US. They will include the child’s name throughout the illustrations and on the cover, making them the subject of each story.

“I am thrilled that Signature Gifts share my vision for creating books that help children to prepare for new experiences and their high-quality, personalised books are a perfect way to encourage a bond between the adult and the child who is being read to,” said Lynette.
