Sgt Pepper pop-up store to open its doors

Liverpool store and special events will mark the 50th anniversary of The Beatles album.

A special Sgt Pepper pop-up store is to open in Liverpool as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations around the iconic album from The Beatles.

Open from May 25 to June 11 at 1 Mathew Street in Liverpool, the store will feature a raft of exclusive Sgt Pepper related products.

These will include apparel, gifts, prints and music.

There will be a special opening at 12am midnight to 2am on May 26 in order for fans to be the first to buy the anniversary editions of Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. This includes the super deluxe box set, which will be sold in an exclusive tote bag, only available from the store.

Also on sale will be 500 copies of The Beatles’ single Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields Forever in a custom Sgt Pepper striped paper bag.
