SEGA Europe is looking forward to sharing its upcoming plans to mark the 30th anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog in 2021 during October’s Festival of Licensing.
The company is planning a year of celebration including some major announcements, digital content, partnerships and a tailored licensing programme.
In addition, Paramount has recently confirmed a sequel to the Sonic movie – the original hit cinemas earlier this year and has grossed over $300 million to date, making it one of the most successful video games movies of all time.
SEGA Europe will be showcasing its full portfolio of IP during the Festival – from its long-established retro licensing programme through to a roster of new gaming IP.
This includes a ground-breaking new first person shooter IP which comes from SEGA’s award winning studio, Creative Assembly – the team behind Alien: Isolation and Halo Wars 2.
