Second donation made by The Light Fund cyclists

£5,000 cheque presented to Tŷ Hafan at first stop on 325-mile challenge.

The first pit stop on day one of the 325-mile cycle from Bristol to Dublin in aid of The Light Fund, saw the industry charity present its second £5,000 cheque in two days.

Tŷ Hafan was today’s beneficiary – the charity provides vital care for life-limited children and young people, as well as supporting their families. It provides support from its hospice in Sully, as well as through a community outreach programme across South Wales.

It has been supported by Bon Bon Buddies for several years.

The cheque was presented by Max O’Brien, senior licence account manager at Bon Bon Buddies, to Natalie Whyatt, corporate partnership manager for the charity.

Yesterday saw The Light Fund present a cheque for £5,000 to Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Appeal at Aardman Animations in Bristol ahead of the beginning of the cycle challenge.
