Dedicated store is open until December 31 at Kent shopping centre.
The Science Museum has thrown open the doors of a dedicated pop up shop in Bluewater for the second consecutive year.
Open until December 31, visitors during half term last week were treated to demonstrations of experiments and gadgets. These also take place at weekends.
In addition, throughout November, shoppers will receive a free gift with every purchase from the shop.
Main gifts include an afternoon cream tea and curator tour at the museum for up to ten people, a £1,000 spend in store (at the gift shop in the Science Museum, London), two tickets to a sleepover for grown ups in the museum and a birthday party at the museum for up to ten children.
There are thousands of other free gifts, comprising vouchers which are redeemable at the Science Museum.
These include £5 free gift in-store, Science Museum Explorer tickets, plus two for one tickets on the Discovery Motion Theatre, IMAX Theatre, red Arrows 3D simulator and the Typhoon Force simulator among others.
“We are very pleased to welcome the Science Museum back to Bluewater for a second consecutive year,” Russell Loveland, portfolio director at Land Securities, said. “Their unique and innovative pop up will capture the imagination of our guests and complement our strategy to deliver an exceptional and immersive experience.”
Paul Widgery, group retail manager at the Science Museum, added: “Our return gives us a chance to build on the success from last year and look at how we can continue to deliver the revenue opportunities outside the museum.”
