Dot to Dot Productions’ animation shortlisted for Best Preschool programme.
Dot to Dot Productions’ School of Roars has scored a nomination at the upcoming Broadcast Awards.
The series is in the running for Best Preschool Programme at the event, which takes place at The Grosvenor Hotel in London on February 7, 2018.
The show, which began airing on CBeebies in February, helps children to prepare for school life by seeing relationships and experiences through the eyes of five mini monsters.
Through their adventures they experience life-lessons – caring, sharing, friendship and fun – mirroring the social and emotional behaviour and group dynamics of the audience.
School of Roars was presented at Brand Licensing Europe and Mipcom for the first time this year, and has already had a strong start to its licensing programme, which is being handled by Lisle Licensing.
Francesca Lisle of Lisle Licensing commented: “We are delighted for Jo and the team at Dot To Dot Productions for this nomination.
“Some fantastic brands have won this in previous years which have gone onto experience successful licensing programmes.”
The award has previously been won by Clangers and Rastamouse.
