Scholastic UK readies Trolls tie-ins

Two prequel novels to hotly tipped DreamWorks movie will arrive in September.

Scholastic UK is to publish tie-in novels for the eagerly awaited DreamWorks Animation movie, Trolls.

The company will publish two prequel titles – Follow Your Art and the Movie Junior Novelisation.

Both are due for release in September, just ahead of the movie which hits the box office on October 21.

The deal covers rights for UK and Eire and was brokered by Maya Maraj, licensing scout, and Elizabeth Scoggins, publisher, licensing for Scholastic UK.

Elizabeth commented: ‘We’re huge fans of DreamWorks Animation and we’re thrilled to be part of what’s already shaping up to be a must-see family movie this autumn.

“We know that children love to read about their favourite movie characters and this is a great opportunity to get more kids to enjoy books and reading.”
