Schleich adds Marvel characters to line-up

Toy company turns super heroes into diorama characters as it grows licensed offering.

German toy company Schleich is dipping its toes further into the world of licensing, with an interesting deal for the Marvel Super Heroes brand.

The company is turning the likes of Spider-man, Hulk, Captain America, Ultron and the Green Goblin into its traditional diorama style characters.

Eight of the hand-painted diorama characters are available individually, while Schleich will also launch Scenery Packs, themed sets which include two characters.

For example, Iron Man and Doctor Strange are paired up with their respective enemies, Iron Skull and Dormammu.

Further plans are also underway for more Avengers launches next summer.

The initial wave of Schleich Marvel diorama characters will be introduced from the end of January. A US launch will follow in December, before arriving in Germany from January 2017.
