Scent Beauty launches Whitney Houston signature fragrance

The estate of Whitney Houston and Primary Wave Music have partnered with Scent Beauty on the launch of a new fragrance inspired by the late superstar.

With the support of Pat Houston – the executor of the estate – perfumers studied Whitney’s collection of fragrances and worked to develop a one of a kind scent which highlighted all of her favourite fragrance notes and overall love of beauty.

The signature fragrance notes are designed with ‘soaring, bright fruits and florals that delight the senses’, as well as ‘woody sensual notes’.

The fragrance is housed in a tall crystal-shaped bottle with the cap serving as an allusion to the numerous trophies that Whitney received during her lifetime. Her signature is used as the finishing touch on the packaging.

In partnership with The Whitney E. Houston Legacy Foundation, a portion of proceeds of the fragrance will benefit the foundation which serves as continuation of Whitney’s journey to rebuild lives, restore self-esteem and repair images through grassroots programmes and initiatives for the young.

“This has been a top goal since Primary Wave partnered with The Estate of Whitney E. Houston,” commented Lisa Fruggiero, vp of brand partnerships at Primary Wave Music. “We’re fortunate to have partnered with such a great team to bring this to the fans.”
