Craft Consortium wins at the Craft Business Awards for its Kori Kumi line.
Santoro licensee Craft Consortium is celebrating after winning a product innovation accolade at last week’s Craft Business Awards.
The company picked up Most Innovative Product Range 2017 for its debut collection of Kori Kumi papercraft.
The awards were held at the annual creative trade show Craft, Hobby & Stitch International in Birmingham.
The category was judged by a panel of industry experts including senior buyer at Hobbycraft Heather Robbins and the editor of Crafts Beautiful, Sarah Crosland.
The Kori Kumi collection of brightly coloured papers and shaped stamps and embellishments surpassed shortlisted collections from West Yorkshire Spinners, Efco and Chameleon.
Craft Consortium’s creative director Nigel Lennon said he was “very pleased and proud” to pick up the accolade and is excited about what 2017 has in store.
The company has recently partnered with Create and Craft TV, meaning further developments for its Kori Kumi range are on the horizon.
