Sam Ferguson joins Jazwares global team

Former Mind Candy executive becomes senior director of licensing and retail.

Sam Ferguson’s new role at Jazwares has been confirmed, with him taking on the role of senior director of licensing and retail.

In his new role, Sam’s remit will include building Jazwares’ outbound licensing department, as well as working with entertainment companies to expand its product offerings.

The company’s current roster of properties for outbound licensing includes Terraria Tube Heroes, Rooster Teeth, Ruby, Lazer Team, Slo Mo Guys and Pixel Piracy.

Laura Zebersky, CCO of Jazwares, commented: “We are delighted that Sam has joined our team, as his understanding of brand building coupled with his experience in identifying great properties will help us achieve our goals.”

Sam previously held a similar position at Mind Candy, where he was instrumental in growing the Moshi Monsters brand at retail and helping to launch World of Warriors.
