Rubies unveils Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi costumes

Rubies is inviting consumers to journey the galaxy with its Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi costumes, bringing the upcoming Disney+ series to life.

The costumes for the new series – which begins streaming on 27 May – include Obi-Wan Kenobi for children in classic and deluxe, as well as a classic edition with a lightsaber accessory. There will also be new Darth Vader costumes available for the series for children in both classic and deluxe.

On top of this, Rubies will also be creating Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader costumes for adults. Rubies already has a hugely successful evergreen line of Star Wars costumes including Jedi robes, Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker in adults and children’s sizes.

The company has been producing the costumes for Lucasfilm and Disney for previous blockbuster and streaming hits spanning many years, including the previous Disney+ successes the Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett.

“Our officially licensed Star Wars costumes have proven to be one of our most successful licences,” commented Georges Ghougassian, group director, brand and licence at Rubies Masquerade EMEA. “From our evergreen ranges which delight both long-term fans and those new to Star Wars to our brand new tie-ins for Disney+ releases, we are incredibly excited to see the latest installment and the reprisal of the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi by Ewan McGregor.

“We are also pleased to be continuing our relationship with Lucasfilm and Disney and can’t wait to see where this partnership takes us.”
