Sheet featuring selected images from original 1980s show launches ahead of new series debut on CBBC.
FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment has teamed with Royal Mail for the launch of a bespoke stamp sheet dedicated to Danger Mouse.
Rolling out just ahead of the debut of the CBBC reboot, the sheet includes images of key characters and scenes from the original 1980s series, alongside ten existing First Class Union Flag postage stamps, all contained in a special folder.
As well as Danger Mouse, other characters featured are Penfold, Head of British Secret Service Colonel K and villain Baron Greenback.
The HQ in the show was, of course, located in a postbox in Central London, which appears both on the sheet and folder, while Penfold took his name from the Penfold postbox, which celebrates its 150th anniversary next year.
“With postboxes playing such a vital role in Danger Mouse and Penfold’s international spying careers, we are thrilled that fans can celebrate their return with this dedicated stamp sheet,” said Tracy Griffiths, VP licensing and consumer products, EMEA and Australia at FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.
