Impressionist, comedian and satirist to take the helm of industry’s big night in September.
Rory Bremner is set to bring a host of famous voices to The Grosvenor House Hotel when he hosts The UK Licensing Awards next month.
Rory will bring his unique blend of impressions, comedy and satire to the industry’s big night, which is taking place on Tuesday September 11 in The Great Room of The Grosvenor House Hotel.
Rory is perhaps best known for writing and starring in the political satire show Bremner, Bird and Fortune, a mainstay of Channel 4’s comedy output for nearly 20 years.
Most recently, he has been a captain on the comedy panel show The Imitation Game for ITV and is also returning to the Edinburgh Fringe this year for an impressions-packed performance with co-star Jan Ravens.
Rory has also previously hosted the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards in 2017.
Other talents under Rory’s belt include ballroom dancing, enjoying a stint on Strictly Come Dancing in 2011, partnering with Erin Boag and specialising in waltz and quickstep before losing out to Nancy Dell’Olio in the Cha Cha Cha.
The headline sponsor of The Licensing Awards 2018 is Brand Licensing Europe and the awards are officially supported by LIMA.
Over 1,400 retailers, licensees and industry suppliers are set to attend this year’s big event.
Tickets are available from Createvents on 01183 340085 or email clare@createvents.co.uk.
