Rocket Licensing builds on Legendary relationship

The partnership for the UK and Ireland incorporates Dune, Carnival Row and Lost in Space.

Legendary Entertainment has appointed Rocket Licensing to manage the consumer products programmes for three of its key brands.

The deal – which covers the UK and Ireland – includes the big screen adaptation of Frank Herbert’s seminal bestseller, Dune (due for release in December 2020), plus neo-Victorian fantasy TV series Carnival Row (pictured) and family adventure Lost in Space.

Rocket will be targeting categories including apparel, dress-up, gifting, social stationery, games and homewares.

“We’re thrilled to be continuing our relationship with Legendary and working on this raft of great brands,” said Rob Wijeratna, joint md of Rocket Licensing. “Each of them is very different and together they create a wealth of potential for licensing partnerships. We’re excited to showcase these brands to the industry.”
