RHS takes further steps into footwear sector

New footwear range from Hotter will be available from late 2019.

One of the UK’s biggest shoemakers – Hotter – is teaming with the RHS for a new collection of women’s footwear.

Launching at retail later this year, Hotter’s signature styles from its classic and active collections will be given an RHS makeover.

The lines will be available from Hotter’s 75 retail stores nationwide and several large garden centres around the UK.

“We are delighted to be working with the UK’s favourite gardening charity to design a beautiful range of stylish and comfortable footwear which will be inspired by artwork from the RHS Lindley Collections,” said Victoria Betts, omni-channel director at Hotter.

Shereen Llewellin, licensing executive at the RHS, added: “Hotter is a well-established brand with a reputation for quality, style and comfort – and a brand that, like the RHS, strongly supports British design and development.

“We’re delighted to be working with Hotter on this range of footwear.”

Hotter, which is 60 years old this year, was established in Lancashire as a slipper maker and has since gained renown for designing and making stylish shoes which offer the comfort of slippers. It sells over two million pairs of shoes each year.
