RHS grows Mr Fothergill’s partnership

Jointly developed seed collections aim to help everyone grow flowers and vegetables.

The RHS has extended its partnership with Mr Fothergill’s for its popular seed ranges.

Following the continuing success of the joint-branded vegetable and flower seed ranges that were launched in 2017, Mr Fothergill’s now plans to extend the offering with the launch of a new seed collection range developed in partnership with the experts at the RHS.

The aim of the new range is again to help everybody to enjoy growing flowers and vegetables from seed and to get results.

The range will be made up of six specially selected varieties presented in 16 flower and vegetable seed collection packs. The seeds range from Flowers for Containers, Flowers for Cutting, Flowers for Easy Growing and Flowers for Fragrance to a wide variety of herb and vegetable seeds.

At retail, the range is being presented on small ‘hot spot’ stands.

“The success of our first collaboration with the RHS has inspired an extension to that range that we are sure will appeal to all ages and all abilities,” said David Carey, joint md at Mr Fothergill’s. “We are delighted to again have the chance to combine the work of Mr Fothergill’s horticultural experts with over 200 years of definitive RHS knowledge and insight.”

Cathy Snow, licensing manager at the RHS, added: “Our first collaboration with Mr Fothergill’s resulted in a popular and very successful vegetable and flower seed offering. The latest extension to that offering is, we feel, a worthy addition that will delight gardeners everywhere.”
