Thunderbirds Are Go takes centre stage at Regatta

October half term activity rolled out to 20 stores in the UK and Ireland.

ITV Studios Global Entertainment and Regatta Great Outdoors are putting their Thunderbirds Are Go collaboration centre stage this October half term.

A raft of activity includes window displays, in-store POS, competitions and special offers, running across 20 stores in the UK and Ireland.

Running until October 29, a competition gives fans the chance to win one of five Amazon Fire Kids tablets and a year’s subscription to Amazon Prime.

In-store POS kits have also been installed in 50 branches of The Range.

The brand has also teamed up with Fun Kids Radio for a competition which will be broadcast to its DAB radio and podcast audience. Fully-branded pages on its website, email inclusions and social media mentions will call out more details on the collaboration.

The 22-piece autumn/winter 17 collection includes t-shirts, fleeces, jackets, hats, gloves and scarfs in sizes 3-12 yrs. Specially-designed swingtickets and end-of-arm display cards call out the features of each product referencing the iconic Thunderbird vehicles.

Trudi Hayward, svp global head of merchandise at ITV Studios Global Entertainment, commented: “The Thunderbirds Are Go series is packed full of action and adventure, which makes it the perfect partner for this brilliant range of adventurewear from Regatta Great Outdoors.

“This promotion and partnership with Fun Kids Radio is a really fun way to get kids excited about the new pieces in the range and encourage them to embark on some great adventures during their half term holiday.”

Graham Rickard, md of Regatta Great Outdoors, added: “We are delighted to be showcasing our Thunderbirds Are Go range in our own retail channels and with key wholesale partners in the UK and Ireland.

“We are also very excited to be working with Fun Kids Radio for the first time. October half-term is the perfect opportunity for us to celebrate this collaboration with Thunderbirds Are Go.”
