Reesee Entertainment strengthens its licensing activity

China-based children’s entertainment, licensing and media company Reesee Entertainment has appointed Pebble Zhang as its vp of its licensed business division.

Pebble (pictured) joins the company from Alpha Group, where she was gm of the licensed business department, responsible for a roster of IP including Superwings, Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf and Smiley. Prior to that, she gained a wealth of experience in marketing across a range of categories in managerial roles at Walmart China.

In the newly created role, Pebble is responsible for strengthening Reesee’s licence business division through consumer products licensing, location-based entertainment development, theme parks, promotions and more. She is also a joint partner in the company’s licensing and merchandise branch, and reports to Ray Wang, ceo and founder of Reesee Entertainment.

“I’m really happy to be joining Reesee, an exciting young company with a great reputation for quality and creativity, in this motivational new role,” commented Pebble. “I’m looking forward to forging new opportunities for its IP and further expanding and consolidating the work of the division.”

Ray Wang added: “We are delighted to welcome Pebble Zhang to Reesee Entertainment. Her enviable knowledge and experience will help to grow our fantastic properties and enable them to connect with ever more people.”
