Redan reveals new art-focused children’s magazine, Skoodle

Redan Publishing has today (12 July) launched a new multi-character, art and designed focused magazine called Skoodle.

Aimed at the primary age group, readers can sketch and doodle with characters including Barbie, Monster High, Piñata Smashlings and Rainbocorns among others.

The aim of Skoodle is to help children independently explore and express their artistic abilities including fashion designing, sticker mosaics, 3D papercrafts, doodling challenges and simple sketching activities.

The four-weekly title is being boosted with a pre-roll advertising campaign on YouTube. In addition, Skoodle is ‘taking over’ UKMums.TV for two weeks with exclusive competitions, free activity downloads and influencer reviews.

“We’re extremely excited about the launch of Skoodle, it has been in development for many months and to see it in print is such a great feeling,” commented Becky Mitchell, managing editor at Redan. “My hope is that Skoodle will give readers the opportunity to try new ideas, be resourceful, inventive and develop their creative confidence.

“With opportunities both on and off the page, Skoodle is bursting with ideas for readers to explore, experiment and most importantly, have lots of fun.”
