Character appearances set to take place across the UK at various locations during holiday.
Character events company Rainbow Productions is ready for a bumper Easter holiday period – with a number of appearances lined up at locations across the UK.
The company will be taking key licensed characters from the world of film, TV and online to a variety of visitor attractions, shopping centres, retailers, race courses, railway attractions and other venues throughout the holiday.
Within the leisure attractions sector, brand owners will receive added exposure for their licensed properties this Easter during family events at places such as Blenheim Palace, Caernarfon, Raglan and Harlech Castles in Wales, Woburn Safari Park, Dean Forest Railway and Bressingham Steam & Gardens in Norfolk.
Also taking place during the Easter period is the first of 14 events where Intu shopping centres will host SpongeBob SquarePants activity. The tour starts on Good Friday (March 25) at Intu Bromley and runs until the middle of April.
Rainbow Productions is also working with partners to help them support a retail store opening on March 25 of Smyths Toys at the West One retail park in Eccles.
Licensed characters scheduled to meet shoppers during the retailer’s opening day include Mikey and Donnie from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Chickedy and Chick from the Twirlywoos, Fireman Sam and Pikachu.
Over the Bank Holiday weekend the company will also deliver character events at retailers such as Toys R Us, Morrisons, The Entertainer and the Nick Store in London.
