Festival season success for Rainbow Productions

Character appearances planned for Camp Bestival, CarFest North, Gloworm, OnBlackheath.

Busy Rainbow Productions is in full swing with the summer festival season, giving licensors another way of extending their brands into live events.

So far this summer, the company has handled character appearances at the likes of Geronimo Festival, Summer Sessions at Chiswick House and Gardens, the Big Day Out music and arts festival and Bluedot, the ‘intergalactic’ festival of music, science, arts, culture and space.

Characters including Peppa Pig and George, Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol, The Gruffalo and Tiny and Small from the Clangers have all appeared.

Next up for Rainbow Productions is Camp Bestival (July 29-31), where the Clangers will perform their mini show.

Danger Mouse will be present for CarFest North (July 29-31), while Gloworm Festival in Nottinghamshire (August 20-21) will see a raft of licensed characters joining festival-goers.

Thomas the Tank Engine and The Fat Controller will be there on August 20, along with Peppa Pig who will be present during storytelling sessions. This will be followed up on August 21 by guest appearances by Ben and Holly.

Finally, Rainbow Productions is also set to take licensed properties to the OnBlackheath festival, which takes place on September 10-11.
