New ‘heritage meets performance’ collection includes retro-inspired apparel and footwear.
PUMA has teamed up with Gold’s Gym for the launch of a new activewear collection.
The tie-up has been described as ‘heritage meets performance’ and includes men’s, women’s and unisex retro-inspired apparel and footwear.
The limited edition collection includes seven pieces such as hoodies, shorts, cropped tops, tank tops, woven jackets, pants, a gym bag and backpack.
The chain of Gold’s Gym fitness centres began with the infamous venue in Venice Beach, California in 1965 – which was dubbed the ‘mecca of bodybuilding’, regularly frequented by the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger and featured in the 1977 docu-drama, Pumping Iron.
Gold’s Gym was one of the first companies in the health and fitness industry to franchise, starting in 1980. It now has almost 700 locations worldwide and licences its name to products including clothing and fitness equipment.
