Progressive Preschool Awards 2020 ready to take to the virtual stage

Eagerly anticipated awards will take place tonight from 6.15pm; host of licensed names in the running.

The Progressive Preschool Awards 2020 will be taking place tonight (Thursday November 12), with a host of licensed names in the running for the prestigious accolades.

Completely free to attend, the event will be held online from 6.15pm onwards via Hopin – an interactive online awards platform which will allow guests to network and chat between themselves in addition to watching the awards ceremony itself. It takes just two minutes to register, and will even remind you when the event is starting – get that ticked off today by clicking here.

In addition to the traditional opening speeches, Alan Dedicoat – the famous ‘voice of the balls’ and Strictly Come Dancing – will also be taking us through the evening as the official finalists’ announcer, following an exclusive interview with Fran Bishop, people’s star of the BBC’s The Apprentice 2016 and BBC News retail commentator.

The evening will be replicating the traditional awards programme as closely as possible, even including the all-important ‘gold envelope moment’, with sponsors announcing the winners of each category.

A host of licensed brands and products have been named in the hotly contested Product categories.

These include WildBrain CPLG for its Snoopy AW apparel collection; Snail and The Whale collection from Fat Face; Tatty Teddy for Nutmeg Range from Dennicci; That’s Not My… Range from Dennicci for Matalan; The Very Hungry Caterpillar Tabard Set from Amscan; Trends UK’s Hey Duggee Flip & Learn Phone and Hey Duggee Smart Tablet; Baby Shark My First Calendar from Danilo; Bing Publishing Range from HarperCollins Children’s Books; Peter Rabbit Alphabet Trolley from Orange Tree Toys; L.O.L. Surprise! Rainbows Home Textile Collection from Dreamtex for Primark; and Etta Loves X Peanuts Range from Wildbrain CPLG to name just a few.
