Bologna Book Fair is approaching at BolognaFiere from 31 March to 3 April, and Helena Mansell Stopher, founder and ceo at Products of Change, will be speaking at two sessions to bring the conversation of industry sustainability to the fore.
This year will mark the Bologna Book Fair’s 62nd edition, which will see the event co-host three shows in one: Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Bologna Book Plus and Bologna Licensing Trade Fair.
Helena (pictured during her Bologna panel in 2024) will be representing POC at the event and bringing her expertise to two panel sessions for audiences to attend.
The first session is a panel led and moderated by Helena, titled Sustainable Brands are Good for Business, taking place on Monday 31 March at 12:00-12:40pm in the Licensing Conference Room.
In an exclusive discussion with Studio 100, Smiley and Tulipop, the session will explore how sustainability is shaping the future of brands, driving innovation and creating long-term business success. Panellists will include Joachim Knödler, head of licensing, Studio 100 International, Germany; Helga Árnadóttir, co-founder and ceo, Tulipop, Iceland; Valerio Costabile, vice president brand collaborations, Smiley Company, UK.
Helena will also join The Sustainability Summit, a new initiative this year, organised jointly by BCBF and BolognaBookPlus, spotlighting the issue of sustainability to the publishing industry with global industry figures.
Taking Stock and Reviewing the Roadmap to a Sustainable Future in the Book Industry, and will be held Monday 31 March, 16:00 to 17:20 in the Illustrators Café (main stage).
