Products of Change marks Earth Day with Ecologi partnership

Initiative will see one tree planted for every person who joins Products of Change in April and May.

Products of Change is marking Earth Day today (22 April) by partnering with Ecologi for a new initiative which will see a tree planted for every person who becomes a member during April and May.

“Vast land areas around the world are potentially available for reforestation and tree planting,” explained Helena Mansell-Stopher, founder of Products of Change. “One study found that 900 million hectares, about the size of the United States, are available for reforestation without interfering with either human habitation or agriculture.

“Once new forests were mature, they would absorb and store 205 billion tons of carbon, while supporting biodiversity, that equates to absorption of nearly 70% of the CO2 released in to the atmosphere since the Industrial Revolution….. that’s why we at Products of Change are planting a tree for every new member in April and May, which means you will not only be dedicating yourself to build more sustainable business practices through our community but will make an instant impact with our tree planting.”

A panel of experts will explore what it means to work sustainably and how business leaders can empower their staff and consumers to champion change.

Products of Change – the international digital membership platform built to drive sustainable change within the brand and licensing industry – recently revealed that it reached 250 members in its first quarter.
