Retailer teams with Henry Holland for collection of tote bags for Graduate Fashion Week.
Primark has unveiled its first designer collaboration – teaming with Henry Holland for the launch of a four-piece tote bag collection.
The new bags are in support of Graduate Fashion Week – with a portion of profits from the collection going to the GFW fund – and feature the bold colours and slogans which Henry has become known for.
There is also a nod towards Henry’s early t-shirt designs of the mid-Noughties.
Henry said that “having something so accessible and that was raising funds for something I passionately believe in” excited him most about working with Primark.
As part of an interview on the retailer’s blog, Henry said: “We wanted to create something that worked for the Primark customer and was infused with the Henry Holland DNA.
“Colour, print and slogans were key and ensuring the bags were made in an ethical way were high priorities for both myself and the store. We worked in collaboration to try and ensure the highest sales and raising the most money for GFW.”
The bags are priced at £3, although the Daily Mail has reported that some are already available on eBay for almost triple the price.
