Primark grows homeware offer with Barbie line

Bedding and nightwear from Character World and Somerbond launches in retailer.

Primark is continuing to back a wide range of licensed properties – revealing a new homeware line for the classic fashion doll brand, Barbie.

The new range will see bedding launch from Character World, complemented by nightwear from Somerbond.

Exclusively designed for Primark, the bedding has been inspired by the iconic Barbie logo with an on-trend colour scheme consisting of pink and muted grey palette.

The collection includes a reversible print duvet set in single, double and king sizes, along with a Barbie fleece blanket available at the end of June.

Meanwhile, Somerbond is launching nightwear for adults this month. The set features the Barbie logo in white multi-print on a Barbie pink coloured background in sizes 4-24.

Gemma Daniels, associate manager for consumer products, said: “We are thrilled to be expanding the Barbie brand in Primark, strengthening our fashion heritage in partnership with the trusted high street fashion chain with this beautiful capsule collection that is perfect for fans of the brand.”
