Portico Designs debuts Eden Project range

Licensee grows into garden gifting thanks to deal with Cornwall visitor attraction.

Design-led stationery and calendar company has branched out into garden gifting through a licensing agreement with Eden Project.

The inaugural collection, comprising 26 products, debuted at Harrogate Home and Gift fair this week.

Commenting, Charlie Bassil (pictured above), sales director, said: “In keeping with the ethos of the Eden Project, the range is all ethically sourced, everything is printed using soy-based inks and the wood used is organic ash.”

The products feature two different design treatments, one botanical and the other more contemporary graphical.

Also launching at the show were 11 new lines in Portico’s Alice Scott portfolio which spans stationery, accessories and lunching products.
