Poetic Brands styles it out with Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records

Poetic Brands has secured a new pan-European licence with rapper Snoop Dogg and iconic hip hop label, Death Row Records.

The company will now develop ‘fashion leading’ multi-product ranges for all European retailers, which will launch across retail in October.

Snoop Dogg has sold over 35 million albums worldwide through three decades of music and, having bought Death Row Records (the label on which his first album was released), Snoop’s name and style is now synonymous with success – he has a huge reach of over 80 million followers on Instagram and 26 million on TikTok.

The rapper’s outfits are just as varied as his portfolio: baggy sportswear, neat suits, coats, workwear and graphic t-shirts, offering multiple opportunities across a number of apparel and accessory styles.

“Legend is an understatement when it comes to describing Snoop,” commented Elliott Matthews, md at Poetic Brands. “We’re all super-excited to work on this project and start the design process for all apparel and accessories. We’ll even be developing Snoop Dogg, dog jumpers. Surely that’s a licensing dream!”

Steven Nadler, ceo at Crooks and Castles, continued: “I am excited to officially announce this strategic alliance with Poetic Brands to represent Snoop Dogg and Death Row Records for apparel and accessories across Europe. We see this as a great opportunity to elevate and expand our distribution in the international markets that are highly in demand for our products.”
