Pip and Posy soar at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta

Magic Light Pictures’ preschool characters, Pip and Posy found themselves up, up and away at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta last week.

The characters entertained families at the festival’s dedicated children’s area, The Brizzle Kicks Stage.

Hosted by children’s party and entertainment experts, Party Peeps, The Brizzle Kicks Stage created fun and entertaining experiences for families with a variety of acts from magic shows to street dance, live DJs and singers.

Children at the festival – which run from 11-14 August – were invited to come and say hello to best friends Pip and Posy as they made special appearances in their own dedicated branded area managed by Rainbow Productions. There were goodies and entertaining activities on hand for children to have fun with and to make new friends of their own.

“We are thrilled to have played a part in this colourful and iconic event which has drawn thousands of families to Bristol for several years,” commented Marc Ollington, marketing director at Magic Light Pictures. “It was joyful to watch hundreds of children interacting with their screen favourites and enjoying some special Pip and Posy playtime.”

Pip and Posy was recently commissioned for a second series in early 2023.

Magic Light Pictures holds the global distribution and merchandising rights to Pip and Posy (excluding publishing) and has launched a full consumer products programme to complement the property. Products already rolling out include tie-in publishing from Nosy Crow, as well as puzzles from Ravensburger, dress up with Amscan, audio figurines with Tonies, plus home accessories. The Pip and Posy characters are also appearing in Milkshake Live and will be touring nationwide from February 2022 through to 2023.
