Pinkfong reveals roster of UK Baby Shark partners

WowWee, Spin Master, Fashion UK, Corsair, Centum, Danilo among those on board.

Pinkfong has unveiled a strong line-up of UK licensing partners for the Baby Shark brand, setting the scene for a comprehensive CP roll out this year.

The first UK toy partners for the brand have been named as WowWee, Spin Master/Cardinal (puzzles and games) and Hasbro (compounds).

Other partners include Fashion UK (daywear and outerwear); Aykroyd & Sons/TDP Textiles (nightwear, underwear and swimwear); Character World (bed and bath); William Lamb Group (bags and footwear); Roy Lowe & Sons (socks); Corsair Toiletries (health and beauty); Centum (books); Danilo (greeting cards, gift wrap and calendar); OTL Technologies (headphones); and SGA Productions (live events).

Pinkfong’s Baby Shark video has amassed 2.4 billion YouTube views and is the 18th most watched YouTube video in history. In addition, the #BabySharkChallenge has accumulated over 100,000 covers of the song, while it debuted at number 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 and reached number six in the UK Official Singles Chart.

Last year saw Pinkfong move the brand into the retail space – toys launched through Amazon and Walmart in the US and The Entertainer in the UK, while the Baby Shark CD became a UK bestseller.

Pinkfong is planning to further boost engagement with the brand through new content release, which will include Baby Shark books, Alexa skills, digital shorts, mini shows, theatricals, special films and animation series.

“Baby Shark has captured the hearts of many and its popularity continues to grow every day,” said Marina Lee, vp of global consumer products at Pinkfong. “We are thrilled to welcome such an exceptional group of licensees who share our vision for the brand. Together we will build an entertainment brand that will be enjoyed by generations to come.”
