Petra’s Planet secures apparel partners

T-Shirt Booth and Event Merchandising on board with fast growing entertainment brand.

The Petra’s Planet brand – which aims to empower children to be ‘active global citizens’ through exploration and play – has secured a brace of online apparel partners.

T-Shirt Booth and Event Merchandising will both be launching product this month.

T-Shirt Booth lets customers personalise a t-shirt on smartphones, tablets or computers. £2 from the sale of each tee goes to charity – Petra’s Planet will be supporting Elimu, a charity in Kenya that supports children and young people to go to school and college.

In addition, beginning with a range of apparel, Event Merchandising will launch an online store at www.petrasplanet.com.

There are plans to expand the range into further lines later in the year.

“It’s great to be working with enthusiastic partners who support Petra’s Planet vision of empowering children to be active global citizens,” said Natasha Dyson, md of Blonde Sheep Licensing, which is handling the Petra’s Planet consumer products programme.

The brand originated from a series of Petra books, originally published in Finland and translated into multiple languages. It has already expanded into a range of categories including apps, an online virtual world and educational software designed for classrooms.
